Lavender Vision

Stonewall started a gay rights movement that quickly spread, first to Boston and then nationwide. Lavender Vision was initially a periodical split between gay men and women, but after a period of time, the lesbians decided they needed a distinctive voice within the gay community. Thus, the gay men split off with a magazine called Fag Rag, and Lavender Vision became a bible of lesbian accomplishment and artists in Boston.
