Elton John

Elton John was one of the most prolific and successful singer/songwriters for four decades, He came out as bisexual in 1976, but later married a woman. He officially came out as gay in 1992. The next year, he began a relationship with David Furnish, and the two married in  2005, on the first day gay marriage became fully legal. When same-sex unions became legal in the UK, they flew there and got married again in 2014. His work for the AIDS community cannot be exaggerated, raising and donating more than half a billion dollars.
